This special hiking tour takes you from north to south through the Salzkammergut - a region like out of a picture book. Glittering lakes, majestic mountains, charming health resorts and traditional inns accompany you on your way. This trip is made for pleasure hikers: pleasant stages with train and bus support, enough time for breaks and culture. On the way you will meet the big names of the region - Hallstatt, Bad Ischl, St. Wolfgang - and many quiet jewels that touch the heart. Day 1 - Individual arrival at the Traunsee
Welcome to the north of the Salzkammergut! In Altmünster you check in at the hotel and have time for your first explorations: How about a stroll through Gmunden including a boat trip on Lake Traunsee? The view of the Traunstein in the evening light is the perfect start to your trip.

The local mountain of the people of Gmunden is calling: you hike up the Grünberg and are rewarded with fantastic views of Lake Traunsee. Once at the top, we continue leisurely to the idyllically situated Laudachsee - a place made for a rest with a snack. Then return to Gmunden.

By train you can reach Bad Ischl - once the summer residence of Emperor Franz Joseph. After a walk through the city, your path leads over the Nussensee to Strobl and on to the legendary St. Wolfgang on the lake of the same name. The sight of the pilgrimage church and the flair of the place are unforgettable.

After a short bus ride back to Bad Ischl, it's high up: you hike over the spectacular 'Ewige Wand', which offers fantastic views of the Dachstein massif. The descent takes you to Bad Goisern - famous for its craft tradition and genuine tavern culture.

Take the train to Hallstatt - the epitome of the Salzkammergut. Whether you're gliding across the lake on a ferry or hiking along the eastern shore, this UNESCO World Heritage Site leaves no one cold. Then follow the wild Koppentraun in the direction of Bad Aussee.

Finally, the route leads along the Altausseer Traun to Altaussee and up to the historic salt mine - a place full of secrets. You hike back to Bad Aussee via gentle paths and with magnificent views of Lake Altaussee. Tip: Visit the Salt Mine, once a hiding place for art treasures during the Second World War.Overnight stay as the day before.

You can take the train back to Lake Traunsee - or simply stay a few days longer in Ausseerland, which has a lot to offer even far away from the paths.

The hiking tour is generally not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Passport and visa requirements:
A valid passport or identity card is required for the hotel check-in.
Special entry requirements may apply for foreign nationals (outside the Schengen area). Each traveler is responsible for obtaining a visa in good time.
Payment conditions:
Terms of payment:
The deposit of 10% of the tour price is due no later than 14 days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The remaining payment is due 14 days before departure.
Cancellation and withdrawal conditions:
According to our General Terms and Conditions, the customer can withdraw from the contract in writing at any time. In the event of withdrawal or non-commencement of the trip, the following withdrawal fees apply
20% of the tour price up to the 28th day before departure
30% of the tour price from the 27th to the 14th day before departure
50% of the tour price from the 13th to the 8th day before departure
70% of the tour price from the 7th to 4th day before departure
90% of the travel price from the 3rd day before departure until the day of arrival
If the customer changes the travel date up to 28 days before departure, we charge a processing fee of € 50.00 per booking. Thereafter, the cancellation conditions apply. Such a rebooking can only be made according to the possibilities in individual cases; the customer has no claim to this.

In addition, the company OÖ. Touristik GmbH has the legally required security for the repayment of payments made and, if transportation is included in the package tour, to ensure repatriation in the event of its insolvency.
